PrimeTreat is Prime Coat's environmentally responsible chromium free pre-treatment system for aluminium. Our multi-stage pre-treatment forms a stable, hexavalent chromium free, conversion layer on aluminium surfaces, providing both high performance corrosion protection and adhesion for subsequent powder coat finishes.

By eliminating hexavalent chromium, the PrimeTreat process significantly reduces hazardous waste and improves workplace safety, while maintaining proven effectiveness. PrimeTreat ensures consistency, repeatability, and compatibility with a wide range of coating systems and it provides clients with a future-ready solution that aligns with sustainability goals without compromising technical performance.

With two sets of different sized immersion tanks, we are able to pre-treat a variety of aluminium products from sheets and cladding panels, through to Ute canopies, Bull Bars, fencing panels, toolboxes and other fabricated items.

Our longer tanks allow us to process lengths of extrusion up to 9 metres.
