Prime Coat started in 2008 with a single powder booth, two employees, and a stubborn belief that the industrial midwest deserved coating quality on par with the coasts. Fifteen years and 8,000+ projects later, we're still family-owned, still doing everything under one roof, and still personally signing off on every batch that leaves our floor.

Our facility runs three independent coating lines — automotive, architectural, and industrial — each calibrated to the specific cure requirements and thickness tolerances of that application. We don't cut corners with shared ovens or generalist powders. Every formula is chosen for the specific environment your parts will live in.

Our guarantee is simple: if your coating chips, fades, or fails within 5 years under normal conditions, we re-coat it at zero cost. That's not marketing — it's our quality control system working the way it should. We'd rather invest in the re-work than lose your trust.
